FOOD AND YOUR BABY

                                               FOOD AND YOUR BABY
HELLO GUYZ! Am back and better.  I was talking to a friend  and she was telling  me how much she wants her baby to be cute and fair(she is actually not fair in complexion though). We all want to give birth to babies not pikin.

This post is about what to eat while you are pregnant and how it affects your baby.
‘’What you eat while you are pregnant have  much importance on your child development and future intelligence’’ says  Diane Ashton, M.D, M.P.H, deputy medical director of the march of dines.

TAKING PRENATAL SUPPLEMENTS e.g folic acid: the recent study published by the America Medical Association found out that women that take folic acid from four to eight weeks of pregnancy have forty percent lower risk of giving birth to a child with autism.

VEGETABLES AND FRUITS :They help to fight the free radicals that can damage the brain tissue of the child.

FOOD RICH IN IRON: Iron is said to help in the transport of oxygen to the baby.

WORKOUT :This will give you the stamina you need for delivery  and also strengthens the baby’s brain. According to America Medical Association ,children whose mum exercise during pregnancy scored higher in test of language skills and intelligence at age five.

I don’t know if I have to tell you guys to avoid alcohol (smile)
